Veteran makeup artist and product development expert Darac created Cobalt Balloon LLC to focus on meeting very real beauty needs that are often over looked by other corporations. The company’s first product, CRC (Conceal, Revive, Correct) Concealing Color is a unique and innovative colored cream that when applied to the scalp instantly gives the appearance of thicker, fuller, healthier hair. For the first time ever, Darac has made disguising the appearance of thinning hair as easy as concealing under eye circles or blemishes.

Darac Beauty premiers in with the promise of products, tools and techniques to correct common beauty concerns that have never been fully addressed by other cosmetics companies in the most natural looking and utterly glamorous way.

Darac’s custom created beauty collections have garnered widespread local and international coverage from TV shows such as Entertainment Tonight, E! Entertainment Television, the Style Channel, and Regis & Kathie Lee. His makeup artistry has been featured in virtually every major fashion and style publication, including WWD, Allure, Vogue, In Style, Town & Country, and The New York Times and has graced many of the faces seen on CD covers, Broadway stages and Red Carpets.

For 11 years Darac was the Director of Artistic Development for Estée Lauder’s Prescriptives brand where he used his renowned skills of custom blending color to drive the creative concept marketing and product development for the company. He has partnered on numerous charitable initiatives including the ‘From Our Lips to God’s Ears’ campaign for which he created a custom blended lipstick for women and lip balm for men and secured every major celebrity’s ‘kiss print’ then auctioned off at New York City’s Bergdorf Goodman to benefit God’s Love We Deliver. He has also created special campaigns for the New York Jets, Evelyn Lauder’s Breast Cancer Research Foundation and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.

Providing an opportunity for customers who may not have easy access to a prestige retail environment, his first foray into direct marketing was on QVC—representing Prescriptives as the national spokesperson—where he saw a complete sell-out of his products in just minutes. Darac was the first person to bring a major prestige beauty company on air, strengthening the Prescriptives brand and increasing sales in all points of distribution. In his first year on the shopping channel, Darac was awarded the coveted Rising Star Award, which is presented to the first year on-air sales personality who shows the greatest promise and generates the most sales.

VINCENZA CAROVILLANO – The Face of CRC on QVC U.S.

Drawing on more than 15 years of makeup artistry experience, Vincenza Carovillano has worked with dozens of movie, television and stage personalities, including Angelina Jolie, Bill Murray, Lynn Redgrave, Betty Buckley, The Fab 5, Elaine Irwin Mellencamp, Jane Pauley, Joe Torre, Lenny Kravitz, Nancy Grace and Lisa Ling.

She’s also worked with media giants like MTV, Vogue, New York Magazine, Brides and NBC where she earned an Emmy nomination for her work on, “The Jane Pauley Show.” Her television credentials include The Apprentice, 2004 Daytime Emmy’s, NBC News Decision 04, NBC Democratic National Convention, Olympus Fashion Week, The Jane Pauley Show, MTV, Telemundo, NBC Universal, CBS Survivor, NBC Primetime Preview, Court TV, Star Jones Show and numerous others.

Vincenza’s latest venture is partnering with fellow makeup great and owner of Cobalt Balloon, LLC. Darac, in his 2007 launch of the unique “conceal, revive, correct” hair color product, CRC Concealing Color, which is available to millions of shoppers online and through QVC.
